Description

K2 Grey with Hood — Yamamoto #40 Full | 3/2mm

The most advanced model in the Kuhane line. 100% handmade in Japan, the K2 Grey with Hood uses Yamamoto #40 throughout the upper body with a new metallic inner lining that provides more warmth without increasing thickness. For waters between 8°C and 12°C and surfers who demand maximum performance in the Chilean Pacific.

A New Way to See Wetsuits

Kuhane K2 was born thinking first of what surfers need: reduce thickness, increase warmth, and reduce fatigue. The result is a lighter suit that allows for longer sessions, faster paddling, and better performance in the water.

Yamamoto #40 — The Competition Neoprene

Produced in Osaka, Japan, from limestone. With 20% more stretch and durability than Yamamoto #39, its 93% closed nitrogen cells make it 99.7% waterproof and up to 40% warmer than conventional neoprene.

Metallic Inner Lining + Greenwave Jersey

The new metallic inner lining maximizes body heat retention without increasing thickness. The exterior uses Greenwave plant-based Japanese fiber jersey with 500% elongation — the result is zero resistance in the paddling zone.

"Arms Up" Design + Watertight Liquid Seal

The "Arms Up" design provides virtually zero restriction in the shoulders for paddling and surfing with total freedom. The exterior liquid sealant leaves the suit completely watertight, ideal for the wind and spray of the Chilean coast.

Integrated Hood with Double Adjustable Drawstring

Only available with hood for maximum warmth. Adjustable drawstrings in the hood and chest panel for a watertight seal against cold water — designed for winter on the central and southern coast of Chile.
